I am Nancy, a 29-year-old travel enthusiast based in Southsea, England, with a heart that beats for culture, landscapes, hiking, gastronomy, and the thrill of getting lost in unfamiliar places. From the beaches of Greece to the markets of Marrakech, every journey has deepened my passion for meaningful travel and storytelling.
I began my blog in 2011 during my early years as a digital nomad, living and working across the globe. What started as a personal diary of experiences has evolved into a trusted travel resource read by thousands of curious, conscious, and adventure-seeking travelers.
My background as an NCTJ-qualified journalist and former magazine sub-editor in London has shaped the way I write: always honest, always thoughtful, and always with a touch of grit. I have served as the Travel Editor for Blogosphere Magazine and am a regular contributor to gapyear.com, among other platforms.

Why Travel?
From a spark to a lifelong calling
My journey began at the age of 14 with a family trip to Greece. That one experience lit a fire within me that never faded. After earning my BAC and completing a BTS in Tourism Sales and Production, I began working in travel agencies and with a tour operator, creating custom itineraries for group travelers. Today, while I work professionally in digital marketing, travel remains my personal sanctuary.
Whether it is a quick weekend getaway, a girls’ trip, or an extended solo adventure, I make space in my life to explore. And I bring those stories back here, to share with you.
